Improved Identity Based Encryption System (IIBES): A Mechanism for Eliminating the Key-Escrow Problem

چکیده
A revolutionary change to public-key cryptography can be considered as an Identity Based Cryptography (IBC) in which identity of the receiver is being used a public key for encrypting message and Key Generation Centre (KGC). IBC will generate distribute private each user decrypt message. The thought behind presenting scheme was improve reduce complexity certificate management, but it also gives rise escrow problem, access encrypted information unauthorized users. paper represents Improved Identity-Based Encryption Scheme (IIBES) Domain Name System (DNS) security provides confidentiality authentication through modified based encryption digital signatures. IIBES comprises revocation mechanism non-revoked users eliminates problem. Thus, aids implement identity-based more safely reality protects DNS against cache poisoning, spoofing attack masquerade attack. Doi: 10.28991/esj-2021-01259 Full Text: PDF

Remove Key Escrow from The Identity-Based Encryption System
Key escrow is an inherent property in the current proposed Identity-Based Encryption (IBE) systems. However the key escrow is not always a good property for all applications. In this paper, we present a scheme which removes the key escrow from the IBE system proposed by Bonch and Franklin, while at the same time maintaining some important properties of the IBE. We also present some cryptosystem...
متن کاملMitigating Key Escrow in Attribute-Based Encryption
The notion of accountable authority introduced by Goyal (Crypto 2007) in identity-based encryption (IBE) setting is a novel approach to mitigate the (inherent) key escrow problem in identity based cryptosystems. As far as we know, the (inherent) key escrow problem also exists in attribute based encryption (ABE), for example ciphertext policy ABE (CP-ABE). In this paper, the concept of accountab...
متن کاملRemoving Escrow from Identity-Based Encryption New Security Notions and Key Management Techniques
Key escrow is inherent in identity-based encryption (IBE). A curious key generation center (KGC) can simply generate the user’s private key to decrypt a ciphertext. However, can a KGC still decrypt if it does not know the intended recipient of the ciphertext? We answer by formalizing KGC anonymous ciphertext indistinguishability (ACI −KGC). We find that all existing pairing-based IBE schemes wi...
متن کاملA Verifiable Partial Key Escrow, Based on McCurley Encryption Scheme
In this paper, firstly we propose two new concepts concerning the notion of key escrow encryption schemes: provable partiality and independency. Roughly speaking we say that a scheme has provable partiality if existing polynomial time algorithm for recovering the secret knowing escrowed information implies a polynomial time algorithm that can solve a well-known intractable problem. In addition,...
متن کاملKey Privacy for Identity Based Encryption
We define key privacy for IBE systems in terms of two properties, indistinguishability under chosen identity attack, and indistinguishability under chosen key generator attack. Further, we show that the BasicIdent system in the Boneh/Franklin IBE has these properties under chosen plaintext attack.
